Our Xmas Get-Together 2025

Early in December, we enjoyed a GRoW Xmas get-together.

It was a real collaborative affair with gifts, offers and contributions from all over the place.

Sunshine House offered the room and some food and brews and Jay offered a couple of games.

Charlotte brought lots of stuff to share and gift.

Imelda’s son was trading crystals as was Lisa and Gill from Northern Heart and Soul.

Lisa offered some shoopery too, encouraging us all to let go.

Neil from FAWNS offered a Christmas bingo.

Bingo was all the rage with Angela offering a People Bingo and Kate bringing a bird one.

Kate also brought finger rolls and a home baked Christmas cake which Lisa guessed the weight of and took home.

Victoria of Community Patch brought cookies and home-brewed tea bags. Vicky brought sushi and juice.

Janine showed us how to break dance and Dionne demonstrated "the crow" and came bearing gifts.

Elaine and Tony of Brighter Better Orrell brought all kinds of free gifts and food treats.

Emma brought playfulness and Nic a big full heart.

To all of you who thought of coming and didn’t make it, we’re not a clique, our edges are open.

So if you share the passion and spirit of community, unity and mutuality then come and join GRoW next year.

Our next funding event will be held on Sunday 8th March – hold the date.

And as you’ll see in the photos, not only are our small people welcome.. they are essential!
