Grass Roots of Wigan can help.

We are inviting grassroots organisations and individuals in Wigan to contact us about pitching for funding at our future events.​

We provide small pots of funding, up to £200, and up to twice a year for groups/individuals based in the Wigan area.

​

We also have some larger pots of funding up to £1,500.

​

Here's how to get the ball rolling:

1. To get going, please become a member on the site.

​

2. Then contact one of the founder members (Angela, Gill, Clare or Vicky) about your idea. You can do this via email (grassrootsofwigan@gmail.com) or contact form.

3. We will have a chat about your idea and provide you with the next steps if you are invited to pitch at our next event.

4. After doing that, you can also submit your idea on our Groups to try and gain some support among other GRoW members, and use our Offers And Wants group to ask for/donate resources.

NB: If you have pitched once before this year, you are welcome to pitch again. If you have pitched twice in a calendar year, please wait until the following year to apply again. See our How to Pitch page for more details.
